Welcome to Shopmobility Lochaber, servicing the Lochaber area. We are located in Fort William. We are proud to be part of The National Federation of Shopmobility Schemes in the UK, a network of individual schemes providing assorted wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs to clients with mobility problems. Located at the train station and beside Morrison's supermarket, we are easily accessible to everyone. If you need help getting to an appointment, sight seeing, shopping, or just to get out, we have just the equipment to assist you. We offer three or four wheel scooters, a powerchair and wheelchairs. Our equipment is maintained regularly and offers you the highest performance. We do not charge our clients a flat fee, we only ask for donations. You can reserve our equipment for as long as needed. We offer both short and long term rentals. We ask that you give as much as you can on each visit, for this service to help us keep operating under these terms. We will ask you to register with us before letting our equipment go. It is a very simple process. We ask for your name, address, phone number and the type of equipment that you use. We also ask that you sign the form that you understand the terms and conditions of your hire. Before leaving you will be given full training in the operation of all equipment. We can also provide you with an escort, providing we have 24 hours notice. We have a private car park at our office which is exclusively for the use of Shopmobility Customers. Disabled toilet facilities are available at the adjoining train station. |
