| Lochaber Highland Games. This year was an exceptional time for Shopmobility we had our second Mobility Scooter Race. This year was a real crowd pleaser. Our Fund Raising Chair dressed as the IRN BRU lady. One of our members (Adam) dressed as a bobby and while the race was going on he proceeded to pull her over. he suggest she was drinking and driving. Our Irn Bru lady held up a can to him showing she was only drinking that. When he turned his back to her to write a ticket, she held up a bottle of Whisky for the humdreds of on lookers to see. When the crowd laughed she hid it. The silly man turned back to her again, this time she produced a cream pie, tapping him on the shoulder she let him have it in the face. As if this was not bad enough, she then stole his scooter that went twice as fast as her's and beat him to the finish line. In the fall of 2005 we participated with Hihgland Disability Sports Lochaber in the "Lochaber Unlikely Lads Calendar". This saw three of our members disrobe for the camera. The sale of the calendars was great. Thanks to all who participated. We have many events throughout the year for fund raising or just fun things for our clients to do.
